What is a loop?
A “Loop” is a topic of interest. Example: “Wine-lover loop,” “Pet Supplies Loop,” “Travel Deals Loop.” However, they’re also the places where your members hang out, based on their location or interests, and of course – most important of all it’s where you send your messages!
Loops are comparable to email lists, except, loops are maintenance & overhead free for businesses. Members can self-opt in or out. As well, Loops are exclusively for mobile devices.
Businesses publish “ to loops where people are already looking for information. They see your “smart message” in their loop and head your way! Before you know it, your “wine lover loop” has just sent new customers your way!
Two Built-In Loops
In Primo Loop for Business, each business account has two built in loops – General loop and Nearby loop. When you sign up, they are automatically created for you with those exact names. These two loops are standardized across all primo loop users, which allows for the easy discovery of those two loops by Primo Loop members.
As soon as you sign up, you can publish to these two loops. Members who are physically near your location will immediately be able to receive the messages published to the Nearby loop. This loop is an “automatic join” by members based upon their proximity to you.
You’ll want to publish to the Nearby loop, not just your loyal or regular or well-established customers when you create a smart message. In fact, the Nearby loop can be a great place for special offers to interest new people in your products and services and help them to become regular customers.
For your regular customers, we recommend the use of the General loop as the “audience” for your deals. In the General loop, the member has to “join” your loop before they can see the messages you post there. Any member of the Primo Loop network can join the General Loop. They simply click on the business profile screen of your business and tap the “Join” button.
In addition to the General and Nearby loops, you may have a need for custom loops which you can create yourself. Custom loops are easy to create. Tap on the hamburger in the Primo Loop for Business App and tap on “Create Loop”.
Perhaps you’re having a live weekend seminar at the local playhouse. You can create a custom loop for all the members who are interested in your seminars, such as “Weekend Seminar Loop.”
Let’s say you will be attending the local trade show where people can get samples of your products. That becomes your “Local Trade Show Loop.”
There’s no end to the customization of your loops that you may need!

SMART MESSAGES
Businesses publish smart messages to loops. Goodbye email, text and telephone! Hello to the genuinely “needed and wanted” by your customers “smart message” that you send from your Primo Loop for Business Mobile App. The “smart message” is published to your members in their Primo Loop app on their mobile device. You’ll see it referred to as a Smart Message or abbreviated as SM.

GENERAL LOOP
Every business on Primo Loop has a built-in loop named ”General loop”. This is typically the most popular loop of the business and the one that members know to look up first. By having a well-known General loop for each business, we make it easy for businesses and members to immediately start receiving the benefits of the Primo Loop service.
NEARBY LOOP
All members are automatically joined to a special loop named “Nearby loop”. Businesses that have a physical location will reach members within a 5-mile radius of their location by publishing to its Nearby loop. This is an ideal loop to publish last-minute deals to people who are literally located within 5 miles. It’s also a great way to attract new members to your General Loop through special offers.
