Note:  If you have not yet downloaded the free Primo Loop for Business App, we suggest that you do that before reviewing the information on the Analytics, as it will be easier to follow along and understand.

Primo Loop for Business comes with built in analytics which are displayed at the individual message level and the loop level. These metrics were carefully chosen to provide critical information so business owners can run effective campaigns on Primo Loop.

How to Access Loop or Smart Message

  1. Tap on the three dots at the top right of your screen.
  2. Choose the loop or message you want analytics for.
  3. Tap on “Analytics.”

Smart Message (SM) Reports

Current Reach (Total Members)

Calculated as the number of unique members currently in all loops that the message was published to. This accounts for members joining multiple loops to which the message was addressed, (note: each member is only counted once although they may have received the message as a result of multiple loops). In the case of a member having multiple relevant loops, the most recent join date for each member is used for this and all subsequent member calculations.

Initial Reach

Same as current reach except that the value is stored at the time of publication. This value is snapshotted each time there is a published event such as a new SM created or when an SM is edited and published.

Member Reports

New Reach (New Members)

A subset of current reach that includes only unique members who joined a loop with an active message in the past 24 hours.

7-day Reach (Weekly Members)

A subset of current reach that includes only unique members who joined a loop with an active message in the past 7 days.

Previous 7-day Reach (8 to 14-day)

A subset of current reach that includes only unique members who joined a loop with an active message between 8 and 14 days prior to the current date.

Total Views

Views are calculated as the number of unique members that have received a message during the lifetime of that message. 

New Views

A subset of total views that occurred in the past 24 hours.

7-day Views

A subset of total views that occurred in the past 7 days.

Previous 7-day Views

A subset of total views that occurred between 8 and 14 days.

Total Favorites

Favorites are calculated as the number of unique members that have favorited a message during the lifetime of that message. These are stored as relationships between users and smart messages. If a user unfavorites a smart message, these are removed from this calculation.

New Favorites

A subset of total favorites that occurred in the past 24 hours. 

7-day Favorites

A subset of total favorites that occurred in the past 7 days.

Previous 7-day Favorites

A subset of total favorites that occurred between 8 and 14 days.

Loop Reports

Total Members: 

Calculated as the number of unique members currently in the loop. Members who leave and rejoin are only counted once. This is maintained as a join relationship between a user and the loop.

New Members:

A subset of total members that includes only unique members who joined the loop in the past 24 hours. If a user leaves and rejoins, they are counted only on the most recent join date.

7-day Members:

A subset of total members that includes only unique members who joined the loop in the past 7 days. If a user leaves and rejoins, they are counted only on the most recent join date.

Previous 7-day Weekly Members:

A subset of total members that includes only unique members who joined the loop between 8 and 14 days before the current date. If a user leaves and rejoins, they are counted only on the most recent join date.

Total Views:

Views are calculated as the total views over all messages in the loop as detailed in the smart message descriptions above.

New Views

A subset of total views that occurred in the past 24 hours.

7-day Views

A subset of total views that occurred in the past 7 days.

Previous 7-day Weekly Views

A subset of total views that occurred between 8 and 14 days.

Total Favorites

Favorites are calculated as the total favorites over all messages in the loop as detailed in the smart message descriptions above.

New Favorites

A subset of total favorites that occurred in the past 24 hours.

7-day Favorites

A subset of total favorites that occurred in the past 7 days.

Previous 7-day Weekly Favorites

A subset of total favorites that occurred between 8 and 14 days.

Total Messages

The total number of messages that have been published to the loop.

Inactive Messages

The total number of messages that either have an end date that has passed or have been deleted.

Active Messages

Total messages not including inactive messages

New Messages  

A subset of total messages that occurred in the past 24 hours.

Weekly Messages

A subset of total messages that occurred in the past 7 days.

Previous Weekly Messages

A subset of total messages that occurred between 8 and 14 days.

Secondary Statistics

Average Values (Messages)

Calculated as the metric divided by the time since the message was published in days. This value is only calculated if days >= 1 otherwise this value is 0.

Average Values (Loops)

Calculated as the metric divided by the time since the first member joined in days. This value is only calculated if days >= 1 otherwise this value is 0.
